Welcome To My Travel Blog Page!
I am an avid traveller, whether that's around the world or just in the UK.
As a photographer I have lots of images documenting my travels. Although most of my shots do tell a story, I felt that something was missing. So here I am, starting a blog about all my adventures. I will regularly post, so remember to check back in once in a while to see where I have been.
Mijas - Spain
I spent a week in Mijas with my partner recently. What a beautiful little town nested in the vast mountains above and away from all the hussle and bussel of the bigger towns. The combination of light, colours and textures enabled me to take some lovely colourful images of this little gem of a place.

The town of Mijas itself has one of the most photographed streets in Spain, so I had no option than to take my own version!

We visited a bioparc there which was really well laid out, giving the animals lots of space to roam around. Well worth a visit if you are in the region.
Cornwall - Bodmin Moor
I'm currently spending a week in Cornwall with my partner. It's actually 8 days now, as we don't want to go home! It's so beautiful and peaceful here. No traffic jams, no stressed out angry people and I haven't heard a police siren since entering Cornwall. It's bloody wonderful!
The weather has been great for the time of year and despite a couple of rainy days, it has been sunny and warm.
Our first excursion was to Golitha Falls, which is beautiful woodland with a cascading river running through it. A great place for dogs and people to have a splash around! We had a very tasty lunch at Inkies Smokehouse after a long walk in the woods.

The following day we visited Porfell Wildlife Sanctuary which was a lovely little place full of a variety of wildlife, including Meercats! It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. You are able to see most of the animals up close and some you can even feed.
The next day was fun packed! We visited Polzeath beach and I took lots of photos of the surfers. The weather was amazing! We had fish and chips which was very nice but super pricey!

We then visited the Bodmin Jail Attraction. It exceeded my expectations! It was brilliant. Really interesting and at times quite distressing but really gave you an idea of what prisons were like in the 1800's.
Thailand
I visited Thailand for the first time in May 2024. My son has lived there for 8 years and is now married and has a son.
What a trip! Flying 9,000 miles away from my partner was hard, but the excitement of my eminent adventure definitely helped me to cope!
